Happy Bastille Day! In honor of France's most festive fête, we'd like to celebrate our strong-willed French friends in the only way we know how: by paying tribute to their style. Ooh la la!
We have no shortage of admiration for French women and their classic sense of dress, so we'll celebrate the holiday from the States by attempting to emulate Carla Bruni, Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt, Brigitte Bardot and many other chic ladies. Be they editors-in-chief, models, chanteuses or designers, French women's fashion is worthy of fireworks.
